Hello,
I'm new to G2 and before I was using zenphoto, so it resized thumbnails in a very clever way, it resized and cropped it so all the thumbnails were the same size and looked good. G2 thumbnails are way different, we have an option of keeping an aspect ratio (sucks because I have to manually crop each thumbnail), or we are forced to use square thumbnail module (I don't like square thumbnails, they don't look good). So the question is, it possible to modify a square thumbnail module for a different aspect ratio or modify a resize thumbnail function somewhere so it would crop a center of an image for a thumbnail?
It's pretty urgent, so I'm willing to pay for these modifications, reply here with your icq/aim/msn

I believe it shouldn't be super-hard to modify the square thumbs module to accept a specific aspect ratio. I always thought it would be cool, because then the square thumbs module could be called "Custom Ratio Thumbs" and you could fill your gallery with 16:9 thumbs, 1:1 thumbs or 4:3 or what ever you want.

Yeah I know it shouldn't be hard.. I even found that function which crops an image.. the only thing I don't know is how to change it here is the code:
SquareThumbToolkit.class
any ideas? I'll pay if you can do this
