Importing G1 Captions to G2 Summaries Doesn't Work

When importing from G1 to G2, we have been trying to import the G1 Captions into the G2 Summary field, but everytime the Summary fields end up blank. Is this a known issue? Is there a solution?


G2 version: 2.1.1a
G1 version: 1.5.4

I also have a similar problem. I select to import G1 captions into G2 descriptions, nevertheless, it always tries to put the G1 captions into the G2 summary fields, they get truncated and descriptions stay blank. It seems, something is wrong with the selection code?

The import confirmation looks like this:

---
Item fields will be imported from:
Title = Base filename
Summary = Blank
Description = Caption
---

And the warnings state that the summary gets truncated, which obviously should not:
---
Summary was truncated for item 5827.
---

I am using the following versions:
G1: 1.5.1
G2: 2.1.2

Any help?
