I have to suggestions... One, is with premissions, that you can set permissions to all nested albums, that way if you change permission on something you want done to the entire gallery - you only have to do it to the parent galleries, and all the children will obtain the same permissions...

Second thing, Is with the hit counter. Personally I really like having it, but i spend a lot of time going through my photos, editing, moving, etc.... Before i started using gallery, i would have my own hit counters on my photos, but i would block my ip from home and from work. so that when im on the page from those locations, the hits dont count. I would REALLY like to see this as an option in Gallery... Or hell if someone could at least tell me what i could do to the code to skip the counter if the ip = this or this.

thanks. Rob

This has been discussed, but is very hard to achieve with the way Gallery 1.x was developed

This would be easier. It may have even been discussed in the Customization Forum. Try asking there (or searching).
