Adding photographer details to images

This may well be a witless newbie question, but I haven't found it answered anywhere. Is it possible (via a module?) to associate a photographer with an album (which would associated that photographer with all images within that album), then be able to associate photographers with individual images? I want to create albums of, for example, holidays, and have them contain all of our pictures, but make it clear who took which picture without having to add it to the image summary or description. The photographer would then be an extra parameter in searches.
