embed adds extra url parts to all added picture links - how do I bypass this?

I'm running gallery 2 embedded in zencart,

I need a specific link from each picture to an item NOT in G2 gallery embed page, how do I generate this link?

The standard 'embed code' adds an extra part to any url I define in a module, -- I can't get rid of this extra string,-- so my link always points back into the embedded G2 gallery page, whereas I want it to point to call a different page in zencart, one that's NOT showing the embedded gallery and therefore I need the other cart pages, not the embedded gallery page.

how can I write my own url to go with each picture, without it being re-written?

The function I'm using is function getItemLinks, part of module.inc
