Hey guys, quick question, is anyone *not* seeing the floating options window pop up when you right click? I know it worked before, but after I went through a new gallery 2.1.1 install it's not working in FireFox. It's works on IE7 but not FF. The 'options' link works, clicking it would bring up the options bar but not right clicking. I have javascript enabled as well.

I have the option enabled in the theme,
OVERALL :: Mouse Right Click action -- Show 'options'
OVERALL :: SideBar behavior -- Floating

Also, is there anyway to get the 'Summary' text of each album to come up? Right now, it's only displaying the Title even though I've put something under summary.

Thanks in adv.

If you send the URL to your website. I'm sure I can take a look at the javascript issue :-)

For the summary text of each album to come up you would need to modify the theme, the variable your looking for is $theme.item.description in album.tpl

You would have to display it wherever is it that you need it to display. if you need specifics, maybe explain briefly what you're trying to do exactly :-)

Thansk termitenshort --

The righ click issue seems to be the way I have my FF setup, it was working my friend's FireFox. I'll dig around some more, it's weird though, my java is up to date and it's enabled.

Regarding the summary text, I thought there something within the PGtheme that I can toggle to have the summary show up or not. I couldn't find it anywhere. What do I have to update in order to have the summary text show up, I guess what specifically int he album.tpl file.

For example, when editing an album, on the 'General' tab, there's the title, summary, keywords and long description. The title is coming out but no matter what I put on the summary box, it's not showing up. How can I get that text in the summary box to show?

Thanks again! What movie was it btw? :)

Well THe PG Theme actually doesn't use java. There is some javascript but that's different. I'm assumming Javascript is enabled and the "advanced" settings are all checked.

If yes, it's possible something got screwed up with the browser and I would try to reinstall it. Otherwise, with some debugging options enabled you can probably figure it out :-) (p.s. the developper toolbar in FF also can disable Javascript but that would not appear in the settings menu)

For the description, on the Theme settings there is a couple thing regarding this item:

- ALBUM :: 1st Page - Show Description on 1st page of the Gallery
- ALBUM :: Show Description (select position)
- ALBUM :: Items - Show Description
- PHOTO :: Show Description (select position)

I'm guessing one of these option will be your salute. I don't use the PGtheme regularely so I wouldn't know unless I'd look into the code a little :)

PS: I went to see the break-up with the wife ... :)

This friend of mine really needs the SUMMARY option to swow up, because he's a reporter and there are too much words to describe every Album.
E.g., The Albumselect Tree "crop" long titles, so it's necessary to "cut" titles and enter some info in the Summary fileld.

Thanks in advance! :)
