Sudden thumbnail problem

The following information is required to get an answer: Hi, i have gallery 1.1.4 and it has been working like a charm now for over a year. But now suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Whenever i try to upload new pictures i get the message "Processing status... - Adding <filename>.jpg What should i do? I saw the other post where someone had problems with their thumbnails that it maybe means that the host has disabled something? Could this be the problem here as well? PS! According to my configuration: "Success exec() is not disabled on this server" So it cant be that? Or? Anyone have any good ideas? sincerely Lars, Norway |

The probkem might be several things. Enable debug output ( FAQ: How do I put my Gallery into debug mode? ) and try a form based upload. Post the debug results.

Hello Folks,
I too have just had this problem occur. I believe my hosts have just done a small PHP upgrade and everything seems to be ok apart from uploading images. Here's my debug output:

Ok. I tried to set it in debug mode, but got all sorts of errors in config wizard:
Error: zipinfo: /usr/local/bin/zipinfo must be a valid file (not a directory)!
Error: unzip: /usr/local/bin/unzip must be a valid file (not a directory)!
Error: use_exif: /usr/local/bin/jhead must be a valid file (not a directory)!
$gallery->app->cacheExif = "no";
Error: use_jpegtran: /usr/local/bin/jpegtran must be a valid file (not a directory)!

dsbolt: ImageMagick isn't instaled where you've told Gallery it is. Either get your host to fix that, or install netPBM instead.
larst: clear the paths for the zipinfo/unzip/jhead binaries in your config, the files obviously isn't there.

Ok. I cleared the paths so i got into debug mode. This is the message i got when trying to upload a picture:

- Adding praksis.jpg
Resizing/compressing original image
No resizing required

i have uploaded an image in the tutorial.........but a small screen displays with an error saying "Error creating thumbnail: /usr/local/bin/convert: not found"........can you please help in resolving why is this error reflecting[img]http://www.installationwiki.org/Image:1847197868.jpg[/img]
