Incorrect image count (sort of)

I have alot of nested albums, and each time I create a new one, I hide that nested albums image that I use for the highlihgt. Now when I upload images (covers) into those nested albums, my image count is off. It adds the hidden image and it adds the nested album as an image.

If you go to my gallery home page and look at the total images (covers), then look at the most viewed or latest added, there is a huge difference. As stated above, the last ones I uploaded I figured out how it was counting and what. Now I need to stop it

Is there a way to stop it from counting the hidden images and nested albums so my count is accurate?
