What is the best CMS to choose if I rate Gallery first?

ok, so I have folks asking me to help them get a photo gallery on line. The CMS part is needed as well, but I'd like to choose one that Gallery 2.x works best with. Could anyone make any suggestions?

I currently use PHP-Nuke and got it working with an integration pack. Looks good... is there something better?

Anyway, i wouldn't recommend PHP-Nuke. I haven't tried the *nuke <-> G2 integration, but there are far better choices when it comes to portal/CMS products than php-nuke.

Drupal, Wordpress and Joomla have very good integrations with G2. We're using Drupal/G2/Mediawiki for this very website (gallery.menalto.com / codex.gallery2.org).

I agree with you that the three PHP CMS products you named are fine produts when it comes to Gallery integration. As biased as I may sound (ouch I did choose WebAPP as a username, did I?). I would prefer using a CMS written in Perl like WebAPP because I man that PHP is just a spin-off Perl language whichhas not been long enough to provide security and bugs free environment. When it comes to Galery, though WebAPP hasn't got "the best" Gallery out there, you can easily integrate any addon on it from million of existing addons (search www.cpan.org) because Prl has been out there for ages and because the flat, universal db system used by WebAPP.
