Any way to make gallery auto update?

I have an upload site where people upload images to my server, I then use gallery2 so people can browse these images. At the moment I have to transfer the images into the gallery daily, is there anyway to get this to happen automatically?

I don't know if gallery can be updated via command-line...

If it can, you will be able to do that with a cron job (or a scheduled task), if not ... you're kinda out of luck :-)

you can't do what you want to do without writing some sort of import script. I have the desire to do a very similar thing. If you do write a plugin or a script to do this for you, or find one could you please let me know? thanks.
