I have just installed Joomla and also installed Gallery2.

I have also installed a mod so they both work together OK.

I just cant figure out how to do anything! I will tell you what I would like to happen, and if someone who knows what they are doing, and would be able to do this easily, then for them to let me know and they can do it and setup what i need for me. I am willing to pay someone for doing this.

I would like a photo album. Each album will be dates (eg Saturday 20th May) etc, inside each album will be alot of photos taken. Now then, only registered members can view the photos, because of the size of the images, I would like them to fit in the space it has, but when someone clicks on something, a popup window appears with the full image size. I would like a rating system and a comments system where registered users can leave comments on each photo (and rate them like i said).

The layout I would like is this:

2 or 3 thumbnails wide, 5 or 6 thumbnails down.

I dont want anything else to be displayed when someone clicks on a photo. Just the ratings, comments, add a comment, (possibly download or a shopping cart system i have one installed i think, where people can add photos to cart then download everything they have selected in one go)

I know everything I have asked for is there because i downloaded and installed the full pack with all the extra addons and themes. I have tried to do it myself but i keep getting 'this theme has not been configured'

Anyways, whoever looks at the site will have an idea of the sort of thing im looking for.

This is quite urgent also - would be excellent for someone who knows a little to gain an extra couple of £ (or $ depending where your from!)

Thanks anyone who can help in advance

Paul

have you looked at Pedro's theme? It allows all what you described and Pedro would certainly be happy about a tip ;) (I assume).
You could try my site (see signature) for a quick-check (the full screen is only available for registered users as you intend to, but assume another icon for the full sizes would be visible ;)).
And his theme is not to hard to configure ...
