Picasa2 module only imports 1 image from the exported album

I am only able to get the module to import 1 photo out of the exported Picasa album. I get the same results whether I upload a zip file from the user frontend or point it to a path on my server with the extracted files through the admin backend. The index.xml seems to contain the info for all the images in the album.

- Is there some sort of debugging I can turn on?
- What version of Picasa is the module designed (or tested) to work with?

I'm running Gallery 2.1.1 on a shared Linuz account with PHP 4.3.11.
Picasa2 G2 module version 1.0.3
Picasa2 version 2.2.0 build 28.20

I suspect the problem might be in the Picas2DataParser.class and may be related to a change in the format of the xml file that the newer versions of Picasa might have introduced.
