How do I get to Private Messages?

I know how to send a private message on this web site, and I know how to check for my messages once I send one but I can't find a way to access my private messages without sending one to someone first.

What am I missing?

You can read your PMs by clicking on the link that say "You have n private messages" down the bottom of the left hand column.

But it will only be there if you have a PM. I've just sent you one, so the link should be there.
