Thumbnails not being displayed properly

Hey guys, A friend helped me migrate (or should I say, a friend migrated) my existing gallery (v. 1.4 I think) to G2. So far everything looks good and there doesn't seem to be any major problems. There is a problem, however, with the thumbnails of the images that were imported from my previous version of gallery - they don't appear to be resizing at all (i.e. the thumbnail is showing a portion of the full size picture). I've tried uploading new photos and the thumbnails are fine, so it's only affecting my old images. I was wondering if anyone had experienced problems with this before and if they had any suggestions as to how to fix it. I've tried rebuilding all of the thumbnails using the maintenance option in site admin, but that doesn't seem to do the trick. So any other ideas would be more than welcome! Thanks everyone. It sounds like you have "square thumbnails" turned on. Go into Site Admin->Display->Square Thumbnails and change it to "Fit images to square" and you should see the whole image resized to fit in the thumbnail space.
