I've got the gallery installed and even made it out with no more error messages. However, now I can't log-in with the admin account (which never showed me a password or even asked me to set one up). Now here is why I think this is happening.

I am using Ws_FTP_Pro to upload all of my files to the ISP. I created the .htaccess and config.php files on my desktop and then uploaded them to the server. Config.php showed up just fine, but .htaccess would not display on the server although it is there.

So, I changed the name of the file on my desktop to 5.htaccess and uploaded it to the server. Sure enough it displays just fine. I set the permissions to 777 and change the file name back to .htaccess.

I run through the installation and get to the point where I have to change the permissions back to 644. Unfortunately I can't change the .htaccess file because I can't see it. So I rename the file on my desktop to 5.htaccess and upload the file. I set the permissions to 644 and rename the file back to .htaccess....and yup, the file disappears from view.

I load up my gallery and it loads up just as purtty as could be, but I can't log-in...

Here is the URL: www.kamarathin/gallery

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I poured through that FAQ 5 times...and, of course, now I see it.

Yup yup. It's up and working...sorta...but it's a different error this time and I'll make a new post if I can't find it in the forums already (searched the FAQ...real thorough-like).
