Single Login (Drupal + Gallery2

Hello all,
I have a running drupal and a gallery 2 installation.
From my drupal site, I have a link to the gallery2 site for photo albums

Is it possible to make a single login. Ie, when my users login to drupal, and click on the Photo Gallery link, they will be logged in already.

I don't want to embed it. Am happy with the gallery being a site on its on.

any advice or directions would be very much appreciated.
