Ok - but you asked for it. Just a couple of things:

You don't need a splash page.

The colour combos are not good: the smaller blue text is unreadable a normal viewing distance on my system. Change the colour or the font size.

Changed the text color to a slightly lighter blue, but I can't find any setting to adjust the actual font size? (I'm using the default...) What're you using for your client, mac or pc?

Splash screen is a placeholder for an actual website to-be-done later.. (galleries would be just a small portion of the real site..)

It looks better.

I'm on a mac, but the more important thing is I've just changed my browser (mozilla is dead, long live Camino!) - and it displays the gallery small fonts very small. However, black on grey is quite readable at this size, but the blue on black is less so.

You can change the font if you like, in css/embedded_style.css:

.fineprint /* used for fine print */
{
font-size: 10px;
}

[it should all be related to 1em, but that's a big change]

Oh well, I'm certainly sick of it now, after visiting your page from multiple browsers :smile:

Cool. Yeah, with the color of the links in my browser (mozilla), even though I"m on big monitor, my eyes see all the sub albums links blend and a little difficult to read. I do like the dark overall quality of the site (i use it for one of my sites)

As far as the splashpage, I like splash pages (if done well). I've heard everyone bitch and complain about them b/c they show like no info, etc. If your site is an information site, sure, that's a problem, but I've seen some simple sites (and have designed some) where it works. It's all a matter of opinion obviously :wink: I like the fact that it has the random photos on it though as of now. I'd like to see it when it's all updated so let us know!
