(feature "request") show starred / all pics

i would very much like a feature that lets the owner of an album mark/"star" selected pics and then show a switch "Show [] starred / [] all Pictures" when the album is viewed.

like a lot people starting in digital pictures, i take way too many fotos. but i don't want to throw away or delete double / bad fotos... and i use gallery as a "backup solution" for my pics

but nobody wants to watch three editions of basically the same view... would be great if i could mark the 30% "good pictures" and by default let the viewer see only those.

i think this could technically made as a special case of the feature request "tag system/virtual albums".
