checkoutr problem No add to cart button

Here is my gallery stas

Gallery version = 2.0.4 core 1.0.0.4
PHP version = 4.3.9 apache2handler
Webserver = Apache
Database = mysql 4.1.12
Toolkits = ArchiveUpload, Exif, Gd
Operating system = Linux avserv 2.6.9-34.EL #1 Wed Mar 8 00:07:35 CST 2006 i686
Browser = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; SlimBrowser [flashpeak.com])

I have installed the 3 modules for checkout as written here http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:Modules:checkout#Fresh_Install

I have installed and removed and installed again.
The only add to cart button i have is from the core shopping cart module.
With this disabled the way it should be there is no add to cart button

I have found a few sites including this site http://www.messagescan.net/gallery2/v/demo/?g2_GALLERYSID=0606d9603d7dc5f847fcfd1c59c419fb. and it workand this is how i want it to look.

I am i using the right version of gallery with this paypal mod. I am i using the right pay pal mods. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG !!
Any help would be great

Have you set permissions for purchasing item? Which theme are you using?

It sounds like you haven't set the permissions properly. I suggest you take a look at this thread to fix it - but also make sure you disable the built in cart module as well.

RRRR Thankyou ver much for the response. Yes i missed the permission detail. It looks good know. So know on to testing.

I want to incorporate gallery2 into my website or rewrite my website into gallery 2. I have found the doco on how to embed G@ into your website.

What I am lacking is the understanding of how the g2 files work to build the sites. Is there a threrad that explains it to a person who has limited HTML PHP knowledge.

What type of site is it? CMS Joomla? or another type, hand written....?
