I'm using PhotoPost right now for a community I run. I use G2 for my own personal photo collection.

Is Gallery more for personal small collections? Or can it handle large communities? Can you give me some examples of large communities that have been running successfully with G2?

Thanks in advance!

Hi!
Would you please define "large"? :)

Btw: G2.1 is most likely to handle large community sites much more efficiently than previous versions.
G2.1 introduces pagelevel caching, which should improve performance _a lot_ on these sites.

Example: at http://gallery.site.hu i can handle 200K hits/day _without_ this caching too.

not a fair comparison.. they are quite far from the current g2 code by now.. :)
(it's like "hey my wv beatle goes 0->100 in 3sec ... -and i've only changed engine&tires..- :) )
so what i've tried to say here is that current G2.1 is good/fast enough for most ppl/sites, certainly you could make it even faster according to specialized needs/no needs=> fine tune (what care2 has in place too, for sure)
