drupal 4.6.5 & gallery2.1

I have been attempting to get G2 working with drupal 4.6.5
I followed the direction on the following page:
http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:How_to_Embed_Gallery2_in_Drupal

Now i get a blank page. I need help.

Drupal version: 4.6.5
Gallery2 version: 2.1
gallery.module version: 4.6.8
Directory structure for Drupal and Gallery2:
drupal install location: %WEB_ROOT%/drupal-4.6.5
gallery2 install location: %WEB_ROOT%/drupal-4.6.5/gallery2

I was going to say that most likely your PHP memory limit is too low. See http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:How_to_Embed_Gallery2_in_Drupal#Everything_works_in_Drupal_and_Gallery2_individually.2C_but_not_embedded (the blank page part).

But I noticed you're using G2.1. The current released version of the drupal module does not work with 2.1. You can try the cvs version which may work for you.

Integration module is seriously lagging behind. 4.7 is likely to be the next release (Beta 6 is current). And 2.1 is officially out. But integration hasn't worked right since G2.0 official and 4.6. Someone else wrote their own module that did work fairly well, but Drupal is at the point where new version is likely to be here within a month and there is still compatibility between 4.7 and 2.1 (or even G2. It kind of works, but doesn't make for a pretty site).
