[checkout] Nochex payment plugin

Hi,

I have a new payment plugin for Nochex (a UK only payment handler) which is working as far as it goes. It is heavily based on the PayPal plugin since the mechanisms are so similar.

Now here's my question: I understand what PayPal's IPN does, but I can't figure out what the IPN part of the PayPal plugin does. It appears to keep track of the pending orders and update them when it receives the IPN, but I can't find anywhere on the Gallery site admin to see the orders - or maybe I have missed something?

Nochex has APC (which is just like IPN) so I would like to understand this so I can give the Nochex plugin the same functionality.

Mike,

You are correct - the IPN part of the plugin takes the notifications from PayPal and updates the transaction records accordingly. You are also correct that there is currently no way to view the transactions in Gallery! This is very much a case of getting the back end going where I want it to be before I get the front end sorted.

I'd be very interested in seeing your NoChex plugin once its finished, and if possible also putting it in the Checkout modules' CVS and disribution pages - if you'd be OK with that?

It just occured to me I should have searched for "NoChex" before releasing my CheckoutNoChex module.

Anyway it works but needs some testing before being released as stable.
