assume you are referring to The Map Theme and -not-
The Map Module (two completely different things).
What version of Gallery are you running?

From the version you are showing I can tell you that you are using Gallery 2.0.x and that you have installed the module for Gallery 2.1 (version 0.5.0x).
If you delete the map folder in your install and put 0.4.10x instead, you should be able to install and get it to work.
If you really are using the theme (v1.0.4a) then something is seriously messed up coz the theme isn't built for gallery 2.1 and you wouldn't be getting this error message.
