joomla - Characters not shown correctly

Hi,
I have installed Gallery2 in Joomla 1.0.7 site, but characters won't display correctly online, on my page that has iso-8859-2 coding because of local characters.
Also when I choose serbian language on my gallery administration page, it shows in serbian there but not online.
It shows good on english part of online site.

change your joomla character encoding to utf8.
maybe do a few forum searches, that's a well known issue-
