I tried to install use jhead with NetPBM but the jhead that I downloaded from the jhead site returned an error. Searching the forums, I found that it isn't "statically compiled." Does anybody have a statically compiled version of jhead for linux? I don't have shell access to my server, so I would need a precompiled version. I posted a phpinfo at http://www.boarshevik.com/phpinfo.php

Thank you

but you say above your version isn't statically compiled..
did you see the sentence that says: If that version doesn't work for you, we have made a statically linked version of jhead 2.3 available here

That link (to a gz file) is not working and even causing IE (when I try with IE) to crash.

I've managed to compile the files I need in Linux, so my problem is solved now. Thanks anyway.
