"Call to a member function on a non-object in..."

"Call to a member function on a non-object in .../gallery/classes/User.php on line 155" I got this error message when I try to add new albums. Any idea why this happen?
I've just configured the gallery, for the first time. And a another problem i can't manage users, when i click the "create"-tab the screen goes white and nothing happens.
