Hello. Everything seems to be in place but I cannot get any map to display. An example is a camping site located here... http://www.idyll.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=6997& The coordinates, etc., are defined. Can you suggest specific de-bug information to assist me? I do not have Automatic Regroupong enabled, per Lutz's post. I use CVS and have the latest and greatest. thanks. regards, patrick ---------------------- It seems to be fine now I need to fine tune it. THANK YOU for assistance and support. -----------------------

Are you certain there are/were no typos when entering coordinates?
This looks strange...
The first entry appears to be reversed.

Well, I initially did enter it in reverse order but verified it is in correct order now, which did not change the (lack of) behavior.

Patrick, didn't you try the "get via map" ?

Lutz...
yes, I did on two of the images I have thus far tried to map. The result is the same. I am getting a feeling ANY earlier misconfigurations are locked away in a database and not released when any effort is made to re-do them?
Not scientific, but from instinct. I am making changes and not seeing them reflected.
What might I flush or renew manually to see if this feeble theory holds up?

you could try to clean the g2_mapmap table with a db tool like phpmysql and start with a clean basis - or even 'deeper' try to uninstall/reinstall the map module - not forgetting to clean caches inbetween (thats how I did it yesterday night/this morning (Europe)) ;)

...the horror....
I removed it totally, flushed every cache I could locate, including eaccelerator and page cache, etc. and reinstalled. Now I get a pop-up window explaining the Google key I am using is already in use by another site. I use Google and it generates the same key, as it should. But my system is confused - perhaps as much as I!?
What specific cache would remove THIS item?
thanks

Maybe you have tried this already; but, just in case I
thought I'd mention it...
Look HERE under 'The Map Key Management Feature'.
Specifically look at '2. Server Name' for how to determine
the server name.
Sorry if the suggestion is lame.
