users cant edit there albums

users cant edit there albums in joomla what setting do I have to change? you can see the edit link but when clicking on it nothing happens page just reloads.

make sure they have the "edit item" permission.
and if the page just reloads etc make sure your php memory limit is large enough and that your server doesn't run mod_security / mod_dosevasive / selinux.
