I should really tell the PHP folks to get their act together and make a stable one, but I'm here instead.

Yeah. And when the PHP folks claim that it's reliable on Apache2 then in theory there won't be any more compatibility bugs with Gallery, either. :smile:

I'm not having many troubles with Apache 2.0.40 and php 4.2.2
If you are going to use them, I suggest getting an rpm, or installing
from a srpm (which I did). Only real issue I had was with random
logouts, but that may have been cause I wasn't updating the atime
in the /tmp dir where the session files where stored. I haven't done
much testing since I corrected that to see if that solved the problem.

This applies to *nix btw, I have no idea what it would be like under
Windows OS's.
