Wordpress 2.0 and WPG2 url rewrite incompatibility

Hi,
I've just recently upgraded my WP installation to the new 2.0 - now it seems, both url rewrites seem to dislike each other. Although WP creates the linking correctly, i.e.

http://www.iroke.de/wp/2006/01/02/children-of-the-secret-state/

you can't access the page, there's just this error:

Also, within the embedded gallery, the breadcrumb navigation on top (Siriux theme) won't work, i.e.

can't be viewed, but

can. Turning off the rewrite module didn't help either. There have been others with the same error:

i suggest you ask in the wpg2 forums what they think about it. we don't know wordpress...

Hi Valiant,
the g2_highlightId bit is part of Gallery. As I read in another thread in this forum, Gallery uses it to know which page it came from. Is there a way to turn it off?

edit: I just found

seems that there is a connection to the wpg2 script, oh well, I'll try it over there then ;-)
