How do I remove the black border in thumnail pictures?

How do I remove the the black border on the sides of the thumbnail pictures? Thanks for any help

I'm having this exact same problem too (www.sixseventyone.net/photos). Floridave any thoughts on how to get rid of the black boarders?

vhrisg56, No attachment or is it the same issue?

Avaya, Did you activate the square thumb module after you added the items?
Did you try to rebuild the thumbs?
Is it the same with matrix theme?
Disable and unistall the sqaure thumb module, clear cache, rebuld thumbs. Test again.
If you want the square thumbs, install and enable the square thumb module, rebuild thumbs.

Thanks for your help Floridave.

I with some help, I figured out that it was the thumbnail module that was causing me to have my problems. I un-installed the module, and everything is working fine now.
