Login problems

I've just installed Gallery 1.3.3, and it's working great, and I've installed Gallery Remote 1.0

When I try to log in to my gallery, everything greys out and it hangs and eventually gives me an error about EOF or something (i'll post again when I get it- it takes awhile for that error to come up)

Looking at my apache logs, I see the following:
myip - - [18/Feb/2003:13:08:52 -0500] "HEAD /gallery/gallery_remote2.php HTTP/1.1" 200 0

It looks to me like it's connecting and not transferring data. Not sure why this would be, though.

I'm able to connect to my old gallery on my friends server who is running 1.2.5, and if I try connecting to his, log out, and connect to mine- it seems to work- but using gallery_remote.php, and I'm unable to create directories and such.

Apache log after having logged in/out of my friends server:
myip - - [18/Feb/2003:12:36:55 -0500] "POST /gallery/gallery_remote.php HTTP/1.1" 200 733

I've upgraded Gallery Remote to v1.01b3, and am still having this problem. Any suggestions/ideas?

Okay, just got it again. The error I get after a good deal of time is:

Error: java.io.EOFException: Premature EOF encountered

[confused innocent voice]...help?[/confused innocent voice]

I just got that same error message, I'm trying to use Gallery Remote for the first time on a laptop with Windows XP. It sits there for about 3 minutes or so with all the buttons disabled, I guess trying to login, and then I receive that same Java error.

I have the exact same problem as tsefox. I try to login to my site and GR just sits there all greyed out.

I'm also using a laptop with XP.
