javascript to submit a form

hi all, new to all this code lark, but making progress.

building my photography site, going well.

need some help with a contact form.

got it designed ok, just don't know the first thing about javascript or how to make the submit button work.

read up about onSubmit, Methods and Form action - but the brain just doesn't quite like it.

can someone help me out please.

A contact form in or out of gallery?

For a basic contact form you don't need (and should never require) Javascript.
Most webhosts offer a perl (cgi) form mail with examples of the form inputs to use.
Just check your cgi scripts on your control panel.

Feedback:
1. I found the cgi scripts on the server
2. I could understand them
3. It worked first time :-)
4. I now get email forms
