I want to create authorisatins for my various albums.
I have revoked any viewing rights for the default group, and created a new group that I have granted rights to view.
Now I want to add users to thta dedicated group, but Gallery won't let me add users: I get the message
You cannot edit that group's users

Where do I allow the Admin to edit the new group's membership?

there are three default groups: everybody, registered users, site admins

you can not edit the group memberships for the groups: everybody, registered users
since they both have a very special meaning

you can remove all but the last member of the site admin group.

in site admin -> groups, you can add / remove users to all other groups.

I had renamed the Registered Users, so probably that is why.
I have created a new group, and now I can manage the membership.
BTW: where can I find more on the special meaning of those groups?
