Adding photos via FTP

I'm sure it's been asked but I've made myself dizzy with searches, so forgive me... Is there a way to either expand the Item upload amount? Current page provides 4 at a time to be added to the album. When you have 100+ pics plus this is time consuming. Is the a way to dump the photos via FTP in the album folder once it's created through the browser then have Gallery2 grab them a pull them in. I created a test album and once I saw how much time was going into upload just 4 pics via the browser, I went into ftp and dumped a few in just to see... but of course, they aren't showing in the album. Any ideas for getting pics on this thing quicker? Thanks! |

Alternatively, you can use Gallery Remote (http://gallery.menalto.com/wiki/Gallery_Remote) to upload multiple foto's at once. Or you can upload using FTP and then add you foto's using add items 'From local server'.

the add items -> from browser shows 4 or 5 input fields by default, but you can click on "more" below the last one and add up to 20 items at once.
i'd second Arjen's recommendation for Gallery Remote or "from local server".
