A question on Uniform Square Thumbnails

I am currently using the theme Siriux Minima Maxima and Gallery 2:

I have two questions:

1) Is there any way to have all images whose thumbnail is converted to Square have the same size as specified in the ALbum Options? I keep getting an image which is square but is of an irregular size.

When I've used the Square Thumbnail module using the Matrix theme it creates a square thumbnail using the size I specify in the album options. I haven't used the Siriux Minima Maxima theme, can you provide a link to your site so I can see exactly what you mean?

Downloaded the Thumbnail module. (Since I downloaded Minimal) I didn't realize Gallery allows Custom thumbnails this way so I got the uniform size I needed.
