hallo
um das beantworten meiner fragen schneller und einfacher zu gestalten,
schreibe ich hier mla meine komplette sysinfo rein
ausser natürlich meine hostdaten wie addresse usw
alles andere ist aber drin
so könnt ihr = sehen ob bei mir was fehlt auf dem server
als erstes möchte ich hier die schritte nenen, die ich bis jetzt getan habe
1. download der gallery zipdatei
2. entpacken
3. installieren auf server
4. rechte vergeben
5.config.php erstellt
6.netpbm für redhat linux runtergeladen bei der von euch angegebenen add
7.installiert in dem modi asci und nicht binar
8.runterladen der check_netpbm.php
9.installieren dieser datei
9.ausführen dieser datei
10. folgende feheler enstanden :

ich habe auch verzweifelt nach dem config wizard gesucht , aber nicht gefunden
auch habe ich keine index.php datei im meinem setup archiv drin

Dein Server hat den berüchtigten "Open_Basedir restriction" "Problemfall". Die FAQ C beschreibt das Problem. Die Lösung ist, dass du deinem Hoster sagen musst, dass er dein Verzeichnis freischalten muss, damit PHP dort schreiben darf.
Danke für deine ausführliche Mail - aber diesmal war sie ausnahmsweise zu ausführlich, da der Hinweis auf "OpenBasedir" ausreichte.

Andeutungen wie "WICHTIG!!", verhelfen nicht unbedingt zu einer schnelleren Beantwortung (auch wenn ill mit 33 Minuten wieder recht schnell war).

Da sehe ich nur Verzeichniss, aber ohne Dateien.
Wo sind die hin ?
Vielleicht Probleme beim Entpacken `?
Die config.php wird durch den Konfigrationsassistenten erzeugt.
Wenn configure.bat / configure.sh aufgerufen wurde, oder die Rechte dementsprechend gesetzt sind, brauchst du einfach nur URL auf der deine gallery läuft.
Zu Netpbm. Wenn dur dir die Binaries herruntergeladen hast, solltest du diese gerade im binary modus übertragen !
Zu deinen vielen Infos zu PHP : nett, aber eine URL zur phpinfo.php hätte da prima gereicht.
