smarty.class.php line error 1426

I got gallery installed, it was a breeze! Until I was done, it took me to my main page and this is my error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: smarty_core_write_compiled_resource() in /home/woollyra/public_html/showcase/lib/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1426

Ive looked but havent found anything on this, how can I fix this and get my gallery going?
