most viewed "Smart album" module

curious if anyone has created a module or knows a way to create an album that is the top XX most viewed pictures. kind of like the stats page that gallery 1.5 had. i'm missing that great feature in gallery 2.

I might be interested in this one too... G2 tracks the number of page views, seems like it would be a simple matter of making a new GalleryView, right? one tpl, an inc, and maybe a helper class.
