Problems trying to crop images with GR...

I thought all was well with my GR -> Gallery1.5, until I tried croping some images in GR, prior to uploading them to Gallery 1.5.

When I load an image into the preview window, I am able to select an area to be cropped, and I see the surrounding area grayed out, but I am unable to save the cropped area and I'm unable to drag the cropped image to the box:"Pictures in selected album (drag and drop to add)"

It's as if ImageMagick is not properly linked to GR, because I am able to crop images using ImageMagick directly.

Not knowing what else to try, I am sending by PM a copy of the GR log, to see if that provides further direction.

Addendum (Oct. 17th): Further inspection of th GR log points, as well, to jpegtran as being problematic:

I don't know if this was reflected in the prior log I sent by PM. I am now sending a more recent GR log by PM...
