Hi all,
I believe I'm being a really thick newbie here:
- I've installed the the Checkout and the Checkout by Paypal modules into my G2 Gallery (Version 2.0).
- I've configured and activated without any problems.
- But my problem is there are no buttons appearing anywhere (i.e. the left hand toolbar) to add a photo or album to the cart and a button to view the cart/checkout.
- I've tried this as a guest, registered user and admin and none of them are displaying it.
Am I supposed to manually add this kind of thing to the menus? If so how do I do this?
I'm sure this must be a really simple problem...
Many thanks,
Alex

Please ask in the Paypal thread. Those guys really know that module and you'll have a better chance of someone who can help you reading your post there.

I am having a similar. I am creating a site for a local photographer www.capturingphotography.com and am having trouble finding and using the add to cart ability for photos. It seems users are required to create an account in order to add items to the cart which is non intuitive.
What I want is an add to cart button on each photo that allows the user to click it to add a photo for purchase into their cart without being in a weird drop down menu or requiring the user to create an account.
I am then using the paypal checkout for the order proccessing... Great work on that plugin BTW.
Can anybody help?

<...no buttons appearing anywhere...>
Use the theme control panel to add the
'Shopping Cart Info' stuff to the
relevant sidebar/album/photo. Or
make your own text URLs to suit.

As above but *only* put the 'Shopping Cart Info' stuff into
the photo area. That's how I do it here on my own site.
To obviate people having to create user accounts or otherwise
register use the EditAlbum button and go to the Permissions
area. Grant the Everybody group CheckoutPurchaseItem rights.
