Anyone recommend good forum to integrate with Mambo+G2?

Hi

I have setup and used the component to integrate Mambo with Gallery2 and seems to be working with mambo handling the logins and gallery2 embedded inside mambo. Looks cool.

I want to integrate forum now also. Is there a recommended forum for integration with mambo and g2?

I am looking into SMF 1.05 and following thread for integration:

And there seems to be quite a few steps involved. And it mentions that SMF handles all logins and registrations from mambo- would that conflict with G2 integration with mambo?

Does anyone recommend another forum which integrates really well with Mambo and G2 and is simpler to setup? Like is phpbb better?

A little late, but I'd have to say Simpleboard is very user friendly on the front and backend and also integrates well with the Community Builder platform. Among the feature I like are the search capabilities as well as the URLs when using Xaneon / OpenSEF. I've used VBulletin, PHPBB2 as well as several popular others that boast of a lot of features, but I still enjoy the simplicity and mambo integration.
