STOP users downloading images

I am running G2 in PHPnuke 7.6.

I want to stop users from downloading images by rightmouse click or by using the save icon that appear OnMouse Over.

Is there a way to do this?

please use the forum search function, you'll find a couple of dicussions about the topic (rightmouse click prevention). you'll also find out that this is a silly attempt, because there's no way that you can actually stop users from downloading pics.

impossible to do.. as long as they can see it, they can steal it. All they gotta do is push the 'print screen' button and paste..BAM! they got it..

There are actually ways of disabling print screen. I have no idea how they do it, but a couple major image publishing companies have done it. You get some type of different image when you try it. Even with third party capture programs.

i don't think it is possible to do that...@ least I've never seen one around.. did tons of research and haven't run into one yet..

macscr, maybe your talking about quicktime and other programs that don't use the frame buffer. maybe there are activeX controls that do the same, but it would never work in any other browser/OS combination than IE/windows.

bottom line: the topic has been discussed x times and there's no solution.
