Question: G2 will provide easy transfering?

Because of bandwith usage and php safe mode..; I have changed my server more than 6 times. After all transfers I set up the gallery again, setup albums again and upload pictures again(and looses comments again); After last server change; I tried to downloading all gallery folder(over 450mb:() and uploading the new server then tried to work, after it wasnt work I tried to setup procedure again, But it didnt work,either.

I dont know "I made a mistake" because of this It didnt work.
I am neither php expert nor good english speaker.

I simply ask;

Will my working g2 gallery easily transfer to my computer then easily transfer to the new server?

Gallery 1.x stores everything as flat files. As long as you're staying on the same OS (Unix vs. Windows) you should be able to transfer your gallery relatively easily. G2 will be marginally more portable than G1 since I'll make less mistakes in the data format, but it won't be radically easier.
