lt00, I assum you talk about the thumbnail-navigator - which is some kind of an enhanced Microthumb display. (a speciality of the PGtheme). Why would you need both? The Standard Microthumbs and the Navigator?!
If you see only the little arrow-icons, then you have the 0.10.4(v.4) - get v.5 from Pedro's page (you find the reason a few posts above - the navigatorthumb and -top have been mixed up in v.4)FAQ Gallery:c.13

In the display of a photo, I did not get the thumbnail-navigator shown on the low right part, but the three small microthumb icons(shown on the upper right)

The PGtheme i got is PGTheme_G2b4.zip (Version: '0.10.4' Build:'5')

from http://www.pedrogilberto.net/gallery2/theme.html

how do i turn on the thumbnail-navigator shown on the low right part?

Thx,

lt00, that indeed was a symptom of the faulty build "4" - can you check your themes\PGthemes\templates\navigatorThumbs.tpl - is it really 2.78kB (2804 bytes) big and starts with

{*
 * $Revision: 2.0 $ $Date: 2005/07/26 $
 * If you want to customize this file, do not edit it directly since future uPGthemerades
 * may overwrite it. Instead, copy it into a new directory called "local" and edit that
 * version. Gallery will look for that file first and use it if it exists.
 *}
{assign var="peerWindowSize" value= 20}
{strip}
{assign var="over" value=4}
 ...

{if empty($theme.params.colorpack)}

guess that is the problem...

Thx very much!

Yup :) Glad to help you - look slike you've still got the v.4 - that's exactly the beginning of NavigatorTop.tpl ;)
Redownload the archive from Pedros page and put the new templates in place - could be an idea to clear your browser cache first ;)

I still don't get it working with microthumbs.

Do I have to install a new module? Do I need some other graphics-lib than GD?

Sry for my bad english!

RSchoeller, what version of Gallery and PGtheme are you working with?
The latest CVS changed the handling of the peers and PGtheme isn't adjusted yet to use the new definitions.
Until 18.08. version run fine.

I got the Gallery-Version from 08-20-2005, PGTheme Verison 0.10.4 Build:'5'.

I will try an earlier version of the Galery.

RSchoeller, thats what I´ve thought - you need at least a Aug.18 version with .4 build 5 - or as I did - only change the files modules\core\callbacks.inc and ...core\classes\GalleryThemes.class to the Aug 18 versions - than you will not get issues with 'newer' plugins
