I haven't seen Gallery2 up and running for quite a while (I checked out the cvs a long time ago). It's looking great and I really can't wait until we get to alpha stage! Well done bharat :smile:
RoyV, I like your theme, it's the first I've seen - how long did it take you?
I'm going to check out the latest cvs soon and look at creating some themes (gfx are not my strong point) but more likely addon modules :smile:

Thanxs Trouble.
It only took 2 hours to edit the templates a bit.
To be honest, I looked at the phpBB site to get the colors.
But It much easier to edit Gallery 2 than it was in version 1.

RoyV -- did you use the old template system (where you edit theme.inc) or the new system (where you only edit .tpl files)?
It looks very nice! If you used the new system, do you have any positive or negative feedback?

The files that I edited are:
gallery2/themes/classic/theme.inc
gallery2/themes/classic/styles/style.css
gallery2/layouts/classic/templates/*.tpl
Gallery 2 is easy to use, and I can't wait till all options are working.
I tried to upload a zip file, but that don't seems to work yet.
Also have some problems to get the highlight thumbnail for a album.
And when I view a picture on page 2 of a album, and I get back to the album it's going to page 1.
But I know it insn't ready yet, so I'll wait.

This is the first time I've seen G2, it looks stunning, especially with phpBB2 template. Would be cool if you could interest <!-- BBCode Start --><A HREF="http://www..subblue.com/" TARGET="_blank">subBlue</A><!-- BBCode End --> who did the phpBB2 skin to design the template. Would it be possible to have different colours for different cells?

RoyV -- try it with the new template system. It's just .tpl and .css files now -- it should be even easier than before!

Elhcay, it is possible to have different cell colors :smile:
When I have some time I will make some other themas (aren't we all busy :smile: )

Bharat's on holiday for the weekend... it'll be a couple days most likely. This error probably stems from the new themes setup, which changed a bunch of things all at once.

I have change the max_connetions from 100 to 350.
Now it's running fine all the time :smile:

This is not the default layout for G2.
But al you have to do is edit some tpl files in the theme directory.
It's easy as 1,2,3 :smile:
