Latest image out side of gallery

Is there a way that i can display the latest uploaded images outside of the gallery. Like on the news page i want to have a table that shows the latest 6 images uploaded in the gallery. |

You'll have better luck with an answer to your question if you post in the forum for the version of Gallery you're using. ;)
