I have just discovered that with the 1.5 version of Gallery, I can have different background colours and even different background images in the different albums of the same gallery.

This adds a new and exciting dimension to the gallery.
I had fun last night having a formal silver all-over "look" to the basic gallery, and opening one album to a bright green background with silver bars, and another album to a brassy background with silver bars.

What fun I and my friends are going to have with it from now on.
And being able to change these things in the gallery itself makes it as easy as changing my sweater.
