mambo - Auto sync doesnt work

Hi, first of all, I must say you guys are doin great work here ^^ cheer.

Well, I installed G2 beta 4 and latest component version 2.0.6. Every works fine, except that I have to manually sync mambo users and G2 users.
If a new mem register at mambo (and activate), his id still doesnt show up on g2. When I check G2 user management (in mambo admin page), it shows: "User doesn't exist in G2"

Anyone knows how to fix this?

PS: BTW, I dont think I did any corehack, since I just installed mambo and G2 few days ago. Oh, and I already checked the mirror user something in G2 config

the user has to visit the component first before it is being copied to the gallery2 database.

when 4.5.3 release, userbots will fixs this problem, no bug, just no go yet.

uhm, exactly what do you mean by "the user has to visit the component first"?
So the user register at mambo page, log in, then goto the gallery? Is it?

alrite, i kinda got it now. When I put the link on hompage, i used "Link - Url", corrected it to "Component - Gallery2" and it seems to work. The user is checked in G2, but now i got this error: "Fullname, email, password" and still cant login when i go directly to gallery2

This behavior will be solved after mambo 4.5.3 is out, i can check user changes at the moment. They get synced once but if they change any thing then the data is corrupt in g2 userbase. If no changes are made after first visiti to gallery2 component it should work, unless you using mambo plus etz...

I have a similiar problem. When user registers in mambo, G2 account is created aloong with the user album(really love that feature). This is where the problems starts. New users don't have rights for their user albums. I have to manually sync users everytime for new users.

are you also running smf/mosplus or any other core hack? When user get first created is the g2 user data the same as mambo user data? or is this changed on back-end sync?

I'm running mambo 4.5.2.3 normal version and gallery2 beta 4. Downloaded the gallery2 parts from http://galleryupdates.jpmullan.com/. The gallery2 package is gallery-2.0-beta-4+.zip and mambo component mambo.zip from the same page.

Emails or names aren't configured into g2 database automatically. Tested it more today, and now it seems to work. Not the database configuration part, but new users have accees to their albums. Don't know what I did. The only problem is that the test site is on my PC and the final configuration will be on different machine.
