Cannot add anymore albums in 1.4.1

I can't add anymore albums to the gallery main page when I click on "New album".
The"new album" window comes up and "Gallery main page" is the default for parent album but I cannot add anything in the album title, name or descritption lines.
If I use the drop down in parent album and select one of the other 50 albums, I can add sub-albums...
So is 50 the limit on parent albums...? :-?
